AutoCAD Technician

Prepare and update accurate technical drawings and construction documentation using AutoCAD to support engineering and project teams.
About the Role
As an AutoCAD Technician at AVVSJ, you will prepare, revise and maintain technical drawings and supporting documentation for construction and engineering projects.
You will work closely with engineering and project teams to translate technical information into accurate drawings, incorporate design changes and maintain organised drawing records throughout project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing accurate technical and construction drawings using AutoCAD.
- Revising drawings in line with engineering and project requirements.
- Updating drawings to reflect approved design and site changes.
- Reviewing drawings for accuracy, dimensions and completeness.
- Maintaining organised drawing registers and document records.
- Supporting engineers with drawing and technical documentation.
- Preparing as-built drawings from verified project information.
- Coordinating drawing revisions with relevant project personnel.
- Following company drawing and document-control procedures.
Skills & Experience
- Relevant CAD, drafting, engineering or technical qualification.
- Practical experience using AutoCAD for technical drawings.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and information.
- Good understanding of dimensions, scales and drawing conventions.
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good organisational and document-control skills.
- Ability to manage drawing revisions and project information.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
