Quality Assurance Technician

Support project teams with routine quality inspections, checks and documentation to help maintain required standards across site activities.
About the Role
As a Quality Assurance Technician at AVVSJ, you will support project and site teams in carrying out routine quality checks and maintaining appropriate quality records. The role involves assisting with inspections, recording findings and helping ensure that site activities and completed works meet relevant project requirements.
You will work closely with site personnel and provide practical support in identifying, recording and following up quality-related matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with routine site and material inspections and quality checks.
- Recording inspection results and maintaining quality records and documentation.
- Checking completed works against drawings and project requirements.
- Identifying and reporting quality issues to the relevant project or site personnel.
- Assisting with testing and verification activities where required.
- Maintaining organised inspection, testing and quality documentation.
- Supporting site teams in following established quality procedures.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a site, technical, quality or construction-related environment is desirable.
- Basic understanding of quality inspections and site documentation.
- Ability to read and understand drawings and project information.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Good organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with site and project teams.
- Willingness to learn and develop practical quality assurance skills.
- Relevant construction or technical qualifications are desirable.
